I'm new
We're sure people can be just a little anxious to come to a church for the first time and try and figure out what to expect, so we've added this page to help you with that. Here are some questions you may have and some answers to go with them.
Where should I sit?
You can sit wherever you would like. We try to have some seating available both toward the back and the front so you can feel free slip in and out quietly if you like, or be bold and sit right up front. Either way, your our guest!
What should I wear?
We are really focused on what God is doing in our hearts and not in our closets. Casual wear is just fine and so are suites. Even the Senior Pastor goes fom one style to the another, so be comfortable.
Am I expected to Give?
Giving tithes and offerings is something we ask our church family members to do. It is a way of standing together and committing to The Bridge and it's mission in an ongoing basis. While you are welcome to do so anytime, we do not expect our new guests to give donations of any kind.
What kind of music will I hear?
Most of the music we play for worship would be considered contemporary in style and you have likely heard some of it promoted on TV. So you may very well be aquainted with our music even before arriving. We love to Jam! And clapping, dancing are normal to us.
Do I have to be a member?
While we would love to have you become part of our spiritual family, you don't have to be a member to worship with us. Not you, your friends or any of your family. Just come and try us out. (But we think you will like us once you get to know us)
How do I become a part of the family at "The Bridge"?
It's really simple. You just start attending, keep coming and that's it. Once you've been with us for awhile, you will have opportunities to get more involved, but we'll let you decide how much more involved you want to become.
Do I have to stay through the whole service?
We would love to have you experience the whole Worship encounter, but you can come when your ready and leave when you've had enough. All we ask is that everyone respects others that are worshipping so as not to interrupt their experience.
We also have closed circuit TV, so you can even sit in the lobby and watch the service as it happens live.
